The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable construction suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments for flexible storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking for solid, cost-effective shelving surfaces. The open design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility, and assembly is quick and easy without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components. The roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, and the modular design simplifies expansion by joining units with greater stability requiring less construction compared to bolting two starter units together.
