The vertical drum lifter is designed for easy lifting and transporting of steel drums with a top lip or chime and is not suitable for open head drums. It features solid steel construction for added strength and long life, making it ideal for industrial applications. The operation involves lowering the unit onto the drum, and as the lifter is elevated, positive gripping pads secure the drum. When the drum is lowered to the ground, the carriage drops down and automatically locks the drum lifter in an open position, ready for the next drum.
