The Alligator Ready Set installation system is ideal for a wide variety of light- and medium-duty fastener applications, featuring one-piece fastener strips with pre-inserted staples that facilitate quick installation and reduce downtime. It is designed for belts ranging from 1/16" (1.5 mm) to 1/4" (6.4 mm) and comes with a portable, lightweight application tool that allows for on-site installation. The installation process involves fitting the fastener strip onto the belt end, securing it with the specialized tool, and then driving and finishing setting the staples to create a strong, long-lasting splice. This system is suitable for various market applications, including package and parts conveying, food and sanitary contact, agricultural harvesting and handling, recycling and scrap handling, and wood products. The fasteners are made from standard galvanized steel material, which is appropriate for most uses, and are plated for rust and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the kit includes a nylon covered steel cable, which is designed for use with steel fasteners and is recommended for troughing or flat belt conveyors.
