The Alligator Ready Set installation system is ideal for a wide variety of light- and medium-duty fastener applications, featuring one-piece fastener strips with pre-inserted staples that expedite installation and minimize downtime. Designed for belts ranging from 1/16" (1.5 mm) to 1/4" (6.4 mm), this system includes a portable, lightweight application tool that can be easily transported to the job site for on-site installation. The fastener strip is simply fitted onto the belt end and secured with the specialized installation tool, followed by driving and finishing the staples to ensure a strong, long-lasting splice. This system is suitable for various market applications such as package and parts conveying, food and sanitary contact, agricultural harvesting and handling, recycling and scrap handling, and wood products. The standard galvanization of the steel fastener material makes it suitable for most applications, as it is plated for rust and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the kit includes a nylon-covered steel cable that is designed for compatibility with steel fasteners and is recommended for troughing or flat belt conveyors.
