The Alligator Ready Set installation kit is ideal for a wide variety of light- and medium-duty fastener applications. The system includes one-piece fastener strips with pre-inserted staples that facilitate quick installation and minimize downtime. It is designed for belts ranging from 1/16" (1.5 mm) to 1/4" (6.4 mm). The portable, lightweight application tool allows for on-site installation by fitting the fastener strip onto the belt end and securing it with the special installation tool, followed by driving and finishing the staples to achieve a strong, long-lasting splice. This kit is suitable for market applications such as package and parts conveying, food and sanitary contact, agricultural harvesting and handling, recycling and scrap handling, and wood products. The standard galvanized steel fastener material ensures compatibility with most applications and is plated for rust and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the kit includes a nylon covered steel cable, which is designed for use with steel fasteners and is recommended for troughing or flat belt conveyors.
