The optimal fluid for efficient heat removal in datacom equipment cooling systems (DECS) and coolant distribution units (CDUs) located within server racks is made with DOW® PuraGuard™ propylene glycol USP/EP, a pharmaceutical grade monopropylene glycol with a specified purity greater than 99.8%. The kit includes a customized inhibitor package that provides superior corrosion protection for liquid-cooled, direct-to-chip applications featuring high surface area copper components. The fluid provides freeze protection down to 14°F (-10°C) and is dyed fluorescent yellow to facilitate leak detection.
