The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Extra HD Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, offering durable and adaptable storage solutions with adjustable open shelves that move in 1" increments. This shelving unit features an open design for four-sided access, constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and double rivet button stud construction that securely locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, with snap-in components that allow expansion by joining units more stably without additional bolting. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, and a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
