The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications. It features durable, adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments for flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum versatility. Wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass throughout easily, enhancing fire safety. The shelving system has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and requires easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips needed. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing ensures maximum support for various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area.
