The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. Suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, the shelving system features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway for structural security. Easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips as the components snap together. The shelving has a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish, and the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout, enhancing fire safety and potentially reducing insurance premiums.
