The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, allowing for customizable storage configurations. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction, providing structural stability and eliminating back and side sway. The design features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking is included to allow ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy passage of sprinkler water, improving fire safety and compliance with insurance requirements.
