Tartan™ Box Sealing Tape 369 is a general purpose packing tape designed for non-critical box sealing applications. It features a 1.6 mil (41 micron) biaxially oriented polypropylene film backing that is easy to unwind, resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and scuffing, and conforms easily around edges and rough surfaces for a tight seal. The tape utilizes a synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive that adheres instantly and consistently to most surfaces, including cartons with high recycled content, providing good closure for lightweight boxes exposed to minimal distribution hazards. It offers good edge tear and split resistance and meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact. The tape is suitable for use on recycled liner paper and fiberboard and is compatible with manual dispensers as well as 3M-Matic™ case sealers. It is durable, dependable, and ideal for securely closing regular slotted containers (RSC) used in moving, shipping, and general purpose packaging.
