Tartan™ Box Sealing Tape 369 is a 1.6 mil (41 micron) general purpose polypropylene film packing tape with a synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive designed for non-critical box sealing applications. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film backing resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and scuffing, is easy to unwind and dispense manually or with 3M-Matic™ case sealers, and conforms well around edges and rough surfaces for a secure seal. It provides good closure for lightweight boxes exposed to minimal distribution hazards, offers good edge tear and split resistance, and meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact. The tape is suitable for general purpose packaging, including cartons made from recycled liner paper and fiberboard, and securely closes regular slotted containers (RSC).
