Tartan™ Box Sealing Tape 369 is a general purpose packing tape designed for non-critical box sealing applications. The tape features a 1.6 mil (41 micron) biaxially oriented polypropylene film backing that is easy to unwind, resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and scuffing, and conforms around edges and rough surfaces for a tight seal. It is coated with a synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive that provides good closure for lightweight boxes exposed to minimal distribution hazards, adhering instantly and consistently to most surfaces including cartons with high recycled content. The tape offers good edge tear and split resistance and meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact. It is suitable for use on recycled liner paper, fiberboard, and regular slotted containers (RSC) in general purpose packaging, shipping, and distribution applications. The tape dispenses easily with manual dispensers or 3M-Matic™ case sealers, providing durable and dependable sealing performance on challenging recycled corrugate and fiberboard. This product is designed to maintain flexibility and conformability under stress, making it ideal for long-lasting, non-critical box sealing.
