Tartan™ Box Sealing Tape 305 is a general purpose packing tape with a 1.8 mil (46 micron) biaxially oriented polypropylene film backing and pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, suitable for lightweight applications, particularly in the food and beverage industry. The tape is designed for reliable closure of regular slotted containers and packages, featuring good edge tear and split resistance, moisture and abrasion resistance, non-yellowing properties that help resist discoloration, and conformity around edges and rough surfaces for a tight seal. It performs well in cold temperature applications, resists aging, weathering, and UV light exposure, and meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact. The tape is compatible with manual dispensers and 3M-Matic™ case sealers and adheres instantly and consistently even to cartons containing high levels of recycled content such as recycled liner paper and fiberboard. It is dimensioned at 1.8 mil thickness and includes pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive for easy handling, smooth dispensing, and secure sealing on cartons exposed to UV light and aging. The product includes a warranty as specified by the manufacturer.
