The Proto® torque multiplier is designed for heavy-duty applications, offering a maximum rated output of 3200 ft-lbs (4338 Nm) with a maximum rated input of 173 ft-lbs (235 Nm). It features a standard torque accuracy of +/- 5% of reading and includes a tubular reaction bar as part of its reaction system. The gear system utilizes a two-stage planetary design, providing efficient torque multiplication. Additionally, the angle of turn protractor is calibrated in 5° increments, and the anti-backlash device is self-contained with three positions for enhanced usability. The tool measures 19-19/32" in length, making it suitable for various torque applications.
