The Proto® 1/2" Drive 19 Piece Deep Impact Socket Set includes 6 point impact sockets specifically designed for use on stubborn or damaged fasteners, as well as fasteners made from soft materials. It features the TorquePlus™ design, which is a high performance drive configuration that enables quick and easy engagement with the fastener flats rather than the corners. This TorquePlus™ configuration includes a radius-corner design that shifts the contact area and stress away from the fastener corners, distributing contact stresses over a larger area of the socket, which minimizes slippage. Additionally, the internal TorquePlus™ design reduces fastener rounding, extends fastener life, and facilitates the turning of worn, rounded, or rusted fasteners.
