The Proto® 3/8" Drive Premium Pear Head Ratchet measures 8-1/2" and features a small pear head design that enables access in tight, hard-to-reach work areas. It is equipped with a 45-tooth gear that strikes a balance between an 8° articulation angle and high torque carrying capacity. The sealed design prevents debris from entering the ratchet mechanism, thereby reducing wear and maintaining lubrication within the components. This patent-pending design includes a low-profile reversing lever for quick, one-hand operation, a contoured, ergonomically-designed handle for comfort, and knurled bands that enhance grip and slip resistance. The ratchet is double nickel chrome plated for enhanced corrosion protection or available with a black oxide finish and is field repairable.
