The Proto® 13 Piece Black Chrome Reversible Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set - Spline includes a comprehensive selection of metric spline wrenches designed to accommodate metric 4, 6, 12 point, spline, and Torx® fasteners. This set features a chrome-vanadium switch lever for easy changes in turning direction, enhancing operational speed. Each wrench has a 15° angled offset box end to keep the shank clear of obstructions, complemented by chrome-vanadium box ends and switch levers for high strength and durability. The box end is countersunk for straightforward application to fasteners. The spline design is specifically engineered for specialty spline bolts, optimizing for reduced weight and size of bolt heads. This design allows the wrench to contact conventional fasteners away from the corners, distributing force over a larger area, which minimizes the risk of fastener scoring and rounding, ultimately preventing potential foreign object damage (FOD).
