The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting is a 2" x 1-1/2" hex bushing with NPT male x female red brass fittings, designed for low pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings feature pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., and comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Their construction offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, while the material's relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily utilized for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
