The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting features a 2-1/2" union NPT female design, suitable for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). This fitting is rated for a pressure of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., complying with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings are made from red brass, which offers superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass. Additionally, the material’s relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. While primarily used for water in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, these brass fittings are also compatible with oil, gas, and steam applications.
