The Merit Brass 125 lb lead-free fitting features a 1/2" square head solid plug NPT female design made from red brass, suitable for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have pressure ratings of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., and they comply with ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. The fittings are engineered for superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and their relative softness facilitates easy installation while ensuring a tight seal.
