The Merit Brass 250 lb lead-free fitting is a 1-1/2" union NPT female designed for low-pressure applications involving water, oil, and gas (W.O.G.). These fittings have a pressure rating of 125 PSI for steam and 200 PSI for W.O.G., while conforming to ANSI B 1.20.1 and ANSI B 16.15 standards. Constructed from red brass, the fittings provide superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, and their relative softness facilitates easy installation and ensures a tight seal. Primarily used in commercial plumbing and OEM applications for water, these brass fittings are also suitable for oil, gas, and steam applications.
