Thermaflex M-KE HVAC ducts are constructed with a vinyl-coated spring steel wire coil, making them suitable for low to medium pressure heating and cooling environments. The ducts feature a core that is bonded to the steel wire coil, which supports fiberglass insulation and is available in three different R-values: R-4.2, R-6.0, and R-8.0 for varied thickness. The acoustically rated polyethylene inner liner helps to eliminate noise and allows for easy expansion, while the spiral ducts are resistant to mold and mildew. The temperature range for these ducts spans from -20°F to 200°F, with an intermittent rating of -20°F to 250°F. The inner core is self-extinguishing, and the ducts come in diameters ranging from 4 to 20 inches. Additionally, the ducts are GREENGUARD certified and include a 10-year limited warranty.
