Thermaflex M-KE HVAC ducts are constructed with a vinyl-coated spring steel wire coil, making them suitable for low to medium pressure heating and cooling applications. This efficient flex duct features a core bonded to the steel wire coil, which supports fiberglass insulation. The ducts are available with three different R-values—R-4.2, R-6.0, and R-8.0—allowing for varied thickness to meet different insulation needs. The acoustically rated polyethylene inner liner effectively dampens noise and allows for easy expansion. Additionally, the spiral ducts are resistant to mold and mildew, and they can operate within a temperature range of -20°F to 200°F, with an intermittent condition up to 250°F. The inner core of the ducts is self-extinguishing, providing enhanced safety. The ducts are available in diameters ranging from 4" to 20" and come Greenguard certified, ensuring compliance with strict chemical emissions standards. These products are backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
