Thermaflex M-KE HVAC ducts feature a vinyl coated spring steel wire coil construction, making them suitable for low to medium pressure heating and cooling applications. The ducts come with a core that is bonded to the steel wire coil to support fiberglass insulation, and insulation is available in three different R-values: R-4.2, R-6.0, and R-8.0, offering varied thickness options. These ducts also include an acoustically rated, polyethylene inner liner that minimizes noise and allows for easy expansion. Additionally, the spiral ducts are resistant to mold and mildew, with a temperature range of -20°F to 200°F and -20°F to 250°F for intermittent use. The inner core is self-extinguishing, and the ducts have diameters ranging from 4 to 20 inches. Furthermore, they are Greenguard certified and come with a 10-year limited warranty.
