The wheel is constructed from a fiber-filled phenolic resin that is molded under extreme pressure, allowing it to support heavy loads without causing damage to floors during intermittent use. It features a non-marking surface and is resistant to corrosion from oil, water, grease, and commonly used acids or solvents, while also being spark-proof. This wheel can be operated continuously in temperatures ranging from -50 to 260 degrees F, and intermittently up to 300 degrees F.
