The North Slope Chillers® Deep Freeze K2L05-LT is a powerful, air-cooled 5 ton industrial chiller designed for indoor low-temperature applications, delivering approximately 41,000 BTU/hr at 45°F fluid temperature and operating reliably in ambient temperatures from 40°F to 100°F. It operates within a low temperature range of 10°F to 45°F and features a non-ferrous piping system and a hermetically sealed Copeland scroll compressor. The unit includes a continuous duty 2 HP centrifugal pump capable of up to 60 GPM at 17 PSI, an integrated HMI/PLC control with Modbus TCP, a single point electrical connection into disconnect, and a 50 gallon poly tank with stainless steel fittings. Fluid connections are 1-1/4" NPT, and available voltages include 480V / 3 phase as standard with 208-240V options. The chiller is built with heavy-duty construction in the United States and is designed to minimize thermal losses with insulated internal components while maintaining precise temperature control.
