Whirlpool® through-the-wall air conditioner offers a permanent cooling solution compatible with standard wall sleeves, including a universal interior trim kit for existing sleeves (new wall sleeves sold separately). This 12,000 BTU unit quickly cools rooms up to 550 square feet and dehumidifies at up to 1.7 pints per hour. It features multiple operating modes: cool, dry, fan, and auto, along with three cooling speeds, an ECO function that conserves energy by turning off the compressor when the desired temperature is reached, and a sleep function for comfort. The programmable 24-hour timer allows customized start and stop times, and 8-way directional air louvers help direct airflow where needed. The unit includes a removable, washable air filter with a clean filter alert and on-board electronic controls supplemented by a remote control. It requires a 230-volt/20-amp electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household outlet. The air conditioner is U.L. listed and automatically restarts after a power failure.
