Built to last, the Werner® 375-pound duty rated 7404 fiberglass 4-foot stepladder is rugged and ready for the job, featuring extra heavy duty aluminum HolsterTop® with thick side plates, internal spreaders, and external rail shields for long-lasting durability. With the Edge® bracing system and Glas*Mark® violator stripes on the rails, the 7400 series is designed to handle tough work sites. The fiberglass rails are non-conductive for working near electricity. The ladder includes back-up plates reinforcing all top connectors, a shoulder bolt and lock nut on the top hinge, and four solid aluminum rivets attaching the top to each front rail. The slip-resistant Traction-Tred® steps are double riveted and feature extra wide knee braces, while the full set of rear horizontals are knee braced and spaced one per foot. Slip-resistant foot pads are attached to the Edge® structure, which also helps decrease damage to the rails. Every rivet is backed up by metal, metal plates, or washers to protect the rails.
