Back-up plates reinforce all top connectors, and the top hinge includes a shoulder bolt and lock nut, with 4 solid aluminum rivets attaching the top to each front rail. Slip-resistant Traction-Tred steps are double riveted and include extra wide knee braces, while the full set of rear horizontals are knee braced and spaced approximately one per foot. Slip-resistant foot pads are securely attached to the Edge structure, and every rivet is backed up by metal, metal plates, or washers to protect the rails from damage.
