The kit includes a range of adapters and reducers designed to expand your socket system by compensating for lost or broken sockets and filling in gaps in incomplete size ranges. It features a 1/4 inch drive (female) x 3/8 inch (male) adapter, a 3/8 inch drive (female) x 1/4 inch (male) reducer, a 3/8 inch drive (female) x 1/2 inch (male) adapter, a 1/2 inch drive (female) x 3/8 inch (male) reducer, a 1/2 inch drive (female) x 3/4 inch (male) adapter, a 3/4 inch drive (female) x 1/2 inch drive (male) reducer, and a 3/4 inch drive (female) x 1 inch drive (male) adapter. The secure drive tool engagement is ensured by four detent grooves that connect firmly with the retaining ball of a drive tool, and the accessories feature spring-loaded ball detents that lightly secure the sockets by engaging their through holes. The 3/4 inch drive adapter and reducer have drilled through-holes allowing them to be locked onto a drive tang with a retaining pin. An 8 inch socket rail with a patented twist-to-lock design securely holds the sockets and includes a keyhole slot for mounting to a wall or workbench, allowing combination with multiple socket rails, trays, and other accessories.
