The Proto® 1/2" drive premium quick-release pear head ratchet measures 10-1/2" and features a small pear head design that allows access in tight, hard-to-reach work areas. It utilizes a 45-tooth gear, striking a balance between an 8° articulation angle and high torque carrying capacity. The sealed design effectively prevents debris from entering the ratchet mechanism, thereby reducing wear and containing lubrication within the components. This patent-pending design includes a low profile reversing lever for quick, one-hand operation and a contoured, ergonomically-designed handle for comfort. Additionally, knurled bands provide increased grip and slip resistance. The ratchet is available with a double nickel chrome plating for enhanced corrosion protection or a black oxide finish and is field repairable.
