This ratchet features a 3/8 inch drive on a 1/4 inch drive body, utilizing the same body as the 1/4 inch drive x 6 inch ratchet to provide the access and agility of a smaller handle and ratchet head in a 3/8 inch drive. The smaller ratchet head improves access and performs like a 1/4 inch drive ratchet. It has a 180° flex with 9 positions, allowing the flex head to sweep through 180 degrees and snap to nine different detent angles to reach around obstacles, using a spring-actuated pawl that engages with well-defined teeth to hold the head in position. The 90-tooth gear provides a 4° swing arc, and the single half-moon pawl maintains engagement with 9 teeth at all times, ensuring no slipping or skipping under stress. The handle is sleek and comfortable with a finger groove featuring pronounced interior edges for traction and control regardless of finger placement, and a rounded pommel at the end prevents the hand from slipping off while providing comfort.
