This ratchet features a 3/8 inch drive on a 1/4 inch drive body, using the same body as the 1/4 inch drive x 6 inch ratchet, providing the access and agility of a smaller handle and ratchet head in a 3/8 inch drive. The smaller ratchet head improves access while performing like a 1/4 inch drive ratchet. It offers a 180° flex with nine detent positions, allowing the flex head to sweep through 180 degrees and snap to nine different angles to reach around obstacles. A spring-actuated pawl engages with well-defined teeth to hold the head in position. The 90-tooth gear provides a 4° swing arc, with a single half-moon pawl maintaining engagement with 9 teeth at all times to prevent slipping or skipping under stress. The ratchet has a sleek, comfortable handle featuring a finger groove with pronounced interior edges for traction and control in any finger placement, and a rounded pommel at the end of the handle to prevent the hand from slipping off.
