The sockets feature shallow and deep 12-point openings for an exact fit and maximum contact with hex fasteners, fully stepped shoulders, and a narrowed diameter that extends to the base on small, deep-length sizes for greater reach into tight, recessed areas. Both exterior and interior finishes are chrome-plated, with the exterior providing high corrosion resistance and a mirror finish, while the interior chrome plating is supplemented with a clear coat or painted finish for full coverage. Large, stamped markings are permanently impressed by a roll-stamp die with an extra-deep outline for clear visibility. The kit also includes 10 pieces of 18 inch socket rails, 4 pieces of 18 inch rail trays, 2 pieces of 13 inch socket rails, 2 pieces of 8 inch socket rails, an 8 inch 2-rail tray, and a 13 inch 2-rail tray.
