The sockets have fully stepped shoulders with narrowed diameter extending to the base on smaller sizes for greater reach into tight, recessed areas. The exterior is chrome-plated while the interior is chrome-plated with an additional clear coat or painted finish for full coverage. The 12-point socket opening allows for multiple access positions to fit various fasteners including hex, double hex, and square.
