This kit includes 21 shallow 12-point inch sockets with a 3/4 in. drive, covering sizes 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/16, 1, 1-1/16, 1-1/8, 1-3/16, 1-1/4, 1-5/16, 1-3/8, 1-7/16, 1-1/2, 1-9/16, 1-5/8, 1-11/16, 1-3/4, 1-13/16, 1-7/8, 1-15/16, and 2 in. Each socket features large, stamped markings permanently impressed into the material by a roll-stamp die, designed to be as large as possible while remaining readable along the socket’s curved surface. The exterior finish is chrome-plated, while the interior is chrome-plated and supplemented with a clear coat or painted finish as needed for full coverage. The 12-point socket opening allows for more access positions suitable for multiple fastener types, including hex, double hex, and square. Radiused corners help prevent fastener round-off by applying force to the flat sides of fasteners rather than their corners. Secure engagement with the drive tool is ensured by detent grooves and beveled edges, providing a smooth and reliable connection.
