The kit features a comfortable, versatile handle design with a large, contoured shape that fits the hand to facilitate spinning the tool and applying torque from various positions. The hex key geometry is precisely manufactured on the large end of the applicable range to ensure a tight fit with fasteners and minimize slop. Tolerances are controlled by measuring both point-to-point and side-to-side dimensions, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and consistency. The keys have refined edges with slightly chamfered edges (except for the smallest sizes 2 mm and 5/64 inch) and a smooth top face for optimized engagement with fasteners. Each T-handle key combines a molded handle with a steel key to enhance torque application comfort and ease. A corrosion-resistant manganese phosphate finish protects the keys, tested by wiping off oil with isopropyl alcohol, submerging in a 1% saltwater solution for 45 hours, followed by rinsing and air drying. The sizes are clearly marked except on the smallest keys, with high-visibility laser markings, stamped markings, and painted inset markings that cannot wear off. The kit includes an 18 gauge steel key stand designed with slots matched to the hex key geometry for quick size identification and easy return of tools. The stand can be mounted to a bench top using three mounting holes on its bottom.
