These sockets feature large, stamped markings permanently impressed by a roll-stamp die, designed to be as large as possible for readability along the socket's curved surface. The exterior finish is chrome-plated, while the interior is chrome-plated and supplemented with a clear coat or painted finish as needed for full coverage. The 12-point socket openings provide more access positions for multiple fastener types, including hex, double hex, and square, and radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to the flat sides rather than the corners. Secure drive tool engagement is ensured through detent grooves and beveled edges, and the sockets meet a high torque strength requirement of at least 1.3 times the ANSI standard for proof torque, verified by a single-cycle test applying torque until the specified value is reached without failure or permanent deformation. The included socket rail has a patented twist-to-lock design that securely holds the sockets and features a keyhole slot for mounting to a wall or workbench, with the option to combine multiple socket rails with trays and other accessories.
