The TEKTON service wrench kit is part of a system of access wrenches featuring short-handled, open-end wrenches with a 15-degree angled head on one side and a drive square on the other, designed to complement other access wrenches. The drive square in the handle can be used with a ratchet or other drive tools to increase access or leverage and apply specific torque, secured by four detent grooves. The wrench jaws are thinner than standard combination wrenches, with 33% to 46% less jaw thickness depending on the size, allowing better access in tight spaces and on thin fittings. Made from 4140 chromium molybdenum steel hardened to 5053 HRC, the wrenches have a finely textured satin nickel finish that resists corrosion, achieved through abrasive blasting and nickel plating. These wrenches are manufactured entirely in the USA, using USA-sourced materials, with all machining, broaching, engraving, vibration polishing, abrasive blasting, and plating performed at the Grand Rapids, Michigan facility. The kit is available in a 31-piece set with sizes ranging from 3/4 to 2-5/8 inches and a 23-piece set with metric sizes from 19 to 50 mm. The tools come with a warranty covering them against defects in materials and workmanship.
