The adjustable wrenches feature a 0 to 1-1/2 inch (0 to 38 mm) jaw capacity with high contrast laser-engraved scales and a smooth, low-pitched worm gear that, due to its low-pitch angle and tight fit between the gear and teeth, prevents the jaw from sliding open during use, allowing for smoother, more precise adjustments. They include an integrated 3/8 inch square drive at the end of the handles, enabling the use of a ratchet or breaker bar to increase leverage and access. The open ends are angled at 22.5 degrees to reduce the working swing arc in tight spaces, allowing the wrenches to be flipped over with each rotation to engage the fastener twice as often. The wide, comfortable handles have a thicker back portion to provide a more comfortable grip and better control. Made of 6140 chromium-vanadium steel with a zinc phosphate coating for corrosion resistance, the heads of the wrenches are ground smooth and have a lightly oiled surface to enhance durability and performance.
