The kit includes a 3/8 inch drive 72-tooth flex head split beam torque wrench with a torque range of 20 to 100 ft-lb and a 1/2 inch drive 72-tooth flex head split beam torque wrench with a torque range of 40 to 250 ft-lb. Both wrenches feature a smooth-turning thumbscrew for quick and precise adjustment to the desired torque value, and teeth inside the flip-up cover lock the torque setting securely during use. The flex head design provides clearance to work around nearby obstructions. The torque wrenches operate by flexing as force is applied until a catch contacts a calibration set screw, disengaging the anchor beam from the main beam and producing a "click" sound. They are accurate to ±4% throughout the entire torque range and are serialized and calibrated according to the ASME B107.300-2010 standard, with detailed test results provided on the included certificate. Unlike other torque wrenches, these can be stored at any torque setting without internal tension or loss of accuracy.
