The kit includes a 3/8 inch drive 72-tooth flex head split beam torque wrench with a torque range of 26 to 130 Nm and a 1/2 inch drive 72-tooth flex head split beam torque wrench with a torque range of 70 to 350 Nm. The wrenches feature a smooth thumbscrew adjustment to quickly set the desired torque value and teeth inside the cover that lock the torque setting in place during use. There is no internal tension when the wrench is at rest, so it does not need to be turned to the lowest setting for storage. As force is applied to the handle, the wrench flexes until the catch contacts the calibration set screw, disengaging the anchor beam from the main beam. This causes the anchor beam to spring into the wrench body and produce a "click" sound, indicating the set torque has been reached. The flex head design provides clearance to work around nearby obstructions. Each wrench is serialized and calibrated according to the ASME B107.300-2010 standard, with detailed test results recorded on the included certificate to ensure accuracy and reliability.
