The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 100 HP, 1785 RPM, 3-phase, 60 Hz motor featuring a 405 T frame and a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design with a foot mounting configuration. This motor has a 1.15 service factor and is built with a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish. It is designed with regreasable ball or roller bearings, an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box, and durable cast iron frames. The Forsheda® shaft seal enhances its protection against moisture, while moisture-resistant copper windings and Class F insulation ensure reliable performance. The motor is tropicalized and equipped with a stainless steel nameplate and corrosion-resistant hardware, making it suitable for demanding environments. It comes with a 3-year warranty and is typically used in various applications such as petrochemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, chemical plants, and tropical climates, particularly where protection against corrosion from severe environmental conditions is essential.
