The Baldor-Reliance motor is a 100 HP, 1785 RPM, 3-phase, 60 Hz unit with a 405 TS frame and a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design. It features a 1.15 service factor, a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish, and regreasable ball bearings. The motor is equipped with an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box, a Forsheda® shaft seal, and moisture-resistant copper windings. It also includes Class F insulation, a stainless steel nameplate, and corrosion-resistant hardware, making it suitable for tropicalized environments. Typical applications encompass petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, chemical plants, tropical climates, and other processing industry applications requiring robust protection against corrosion due to severe environmental operating conditions.
