The Baldor-Reliance motor is a robust 40HP, 3540RPM, 3-phase, 60Hz unit designed with a 324TS frame and 1240M enclosure. This motor features a 15 service factor, a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish, regreasable ball bearings, an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box, and a Forsheda® shaft seal. It also incorporates moisture-resistant copper windings, Class F insulation, a stainless steel nameplate, and corrosion-resistant hardware, making it suitable for demanding environments. The motor is tropicalized to withstand extreme conditions, making it ideal for applications in petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, chemical plants, and tropical climates requiring protection against corrosion from severe environmental operating conditions.
