The Baldor-Realiance motor is a .5HP, 1750RPM, DC motor rated for service in a 56C frame, model 3428P, and features a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design with a F1 mounting configuration. It is constructed with moisture-resistant 200°C magnet wire and includes sealed ball bearings lubricated with moisture-resistant grease, along with contact lip seals on shaft extensions to prevent contamination. The motor is equipped with neoprene gaskets and specially processed endplates, supported by a robust 300 series stainless steel motor frame, base, shaft, and hardware, eliminating the need for exterior paint. Designed for tropicalized environments, it is ideally suited for typical applications in food processing, packaging, and other scenarios where the motor is regularly exposed to high-pressure washdown with caustic solutions.
