The Baldor-Reliance motor is a robust 3HP unit designed for three-phase operation at 3475RPM and 60Hz, with a frame size of 145TC and a model designation of 3540M. It features a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design, moisture sealant on bolt heads and between the frame and endplates, neoprene gaskets, double sealed bearings, a Forsheda® running contact V-ring slinger, and a stainless steel shaft. Its electrostatically applied epoxy finish ensures durability, while Class F insulation and tropicalization provide additional protection in challenging environments. This motor is particularly well-suited for food processing and other applications where it is regularly exposed to high-pressure washdowns.
