The Baldor-Reliance motor is a robust 40HP, 1775RPM, 3-phase motor operating at 60Hz, model 324JP, 1254M, with a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design. It features heavy gauge steel frames and moisture resistant ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) copper windings, as well as oversized ball bearings with locked drive end construction to minimize endplay. The motor utilizes low-loss electrical grade lamination steel, ensuring efficient performance. Open drip-proof, close coupled pump motors are equipped with rodent screens at both ends for added protection. This motor is designed for a wide variety of applications involving the circulating and transferring of fluids, and its mounting is specifically engineered to support pump units.
