The Baldor-Realiance motor is a high-performance unit featuring a power rating of 10 HP and operates at 1755 RPM, designed for three-phase power at 60 Hz. It complies with the 215 TC frame and is constructed as a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motor. The motor is designed, manufactured, and tested to exceed the IEEE 841-1994 standards for severe duty TEFC induction motors. It includes premium efficiency copper windings utilizing Baldor-Realiance ISR (Inverter Spike Resistant)® magnet wire, which meets CEE efficiency guidelines. It features an Inpro Seal® on the fan and drive end shaft extensions and is coated with a two-part yellow epoxy oxide primer on both the inside and outside, alongside gray epoxy paint and corrosion-resistant hardware. The unit is built to produce reduced noise, vibration, and improved mechanical tolerances, with final test and vibration results included with the motor. Typical applications for this motor include petrochemical and pulp and paper plants, mines, and other installations that require premium efficient motors manufactured to rigorous standards for severe duty service.
